Description
Transform your living room, pooja room, or entryway with this exquisite, stunning, handmade Om Mandala Lippan Mirror Art (12″). Inspired by traditional Mud and Mirror (Lippan) art from Kutch, this stunning 12-inch wall decor piece combines sacred spiritual symbolism with intricate geometric mandala design.
Key Features Of This Om Mandala Lippan Mirror Art:
- Size & Build: Crafted on a heavy-duty 12-inch circular MDF board with a 4mm thickness, complete with a secure back hook installed for easy hanging.
- Intricate Craftsmanship: Features meticulous hand-sculpted Fevicryl clay work and a central sacred Om motif embedded with small, shimmering mirrors that catch and reflect light beautifully.
- Protected & Clean Finish: Layered with gesso for a smooth base, finished with black paint on the back for a neat professional look, and sealed with 2-3 coats of varnish for long-lasting gloss and durability.
- Versatile Decor: Lightweight and ready to hang, making it an ideal statement piece for home interiors or a thoughtful festive gift.
The Heritage of Traditional Lippan Mirror Art:
Originating from the desert region of Kutch, traditional Lippan Ka Kaam (mud and mirror art) was originally used by local artisans to decorate the mud walls of their homes, known as bhungas. The mud helps keep interiors cool, while the tiny mud-embedded mirrors catch and multiply the flickering glow of oil lamps during festivals and evenings. We have adapted this rich cultural heritage onto durable, premium MDF boards, giving you authentic handcrafted Indian folk art tailored for modern interior styling. Whether you are creating a serene spiritual ambiance in your pooja room or adding an ethnic bohemian touch to your living room accent wall, this handmade piece brings warmth, texture, and cultural depth into your home.
